Hands down the place to be, across central park, the concierge was awesome in booking a last minute tour at 9 pm to midnight across New York! Fabulous from time square to little Italy, Joes Pizza and much more! Rooms clean and staff always helpful with a smile and pet friendly. They also coordinated a carriage ride around Central Park. They made our stay memorable.
We stayed in a suite overlooking the Macy's Parade route on Thanksgiving weekend 2018 and couldn't have been happier with the accommodations and staff. The staff was super attentive, room service was pretty good too. Rooms were really quiet and large enough for my family of 4. Our suite looked out over Central Park and the views were absolutely spectacular. Elevators are very well done, if a little smaller than you would expect, but I liked them. The doorman was always ready to help and the concierge staff took care of everything we asked. Thanks for making our bucket list Thanksgiving celebration in NYC a truly great experience.
Top notch service, location, and room. The view of Central Park and deep soaking bathtub were my favorite. I will definitely stay with them for my NYC trips. The concierge was very helpful.
Spectacular stay! I absolutely love the attention to detail that the hotel staff has shown. We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff had left champagne and strawberries on arrival. We were asked for our plans before arrival and the guest relations manager left small mementos in our room after each event. This was greatly appreciated and showed the attention to detail we enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and responsive - we needed a few items during our stay and they were always provided in a very timely manner. The rooms get very spacious for NY and we're very clean. I am absolutely sold on the Ritz Carlton brand and will most definitely look for other hotels to visit around the world.
Great location and staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. We book through the Amex Fine Hotel collection, we didn't receive a room upgrade which was a little disappointing but the room was still very nice and spacious for a New York Hotel. Pro Tip: Try the corn nuts while getting a beverage in their lobby lounge, so good.
My boyfriend and I spent 2 nights and 3 days here. We were supposed to get a double occupancy but because our ride dropped us off a few hours before check-in we got a different room with one bed but that's okay. We had the Central Park view. The people who worked at this hotel were nice and treated us well. Long story short I won an all-paid NY trip and the travel agent who was assigned to me chose The Ritz Carlton Hotel for us. Everyone who walked into the hotel was dressed nicely and you could tell they had money lol compared to myself and my boyfriend coming from the deep South of Mississippi we didn't own any business casual attire and the employees didn't treat us any differently. The bar in the hotel has great food and a shoutout to Manny who helped my boyfriend find a weed shop lol everyone was friendly. My favorite thing at this hotel was the showers the hot water felt amazing like I was getting a massage I never wanted to get out.
I had a delicious breakfast of eggs Benedict (classic) with ham, and there was a salmon option as well. I also had a mixed berries fruit plate. The freshly squeezed green energy juice was perfect. The service was 5 stars. Alice was wonderful and so kind, professional and polite. I had a lovely day at The Ritz-Carlton NY overlooking Central Park.
